Resources

In order to live on your own with support or to have a job with support, it is a really good idea to be aware of all the different resources and programs for which you may be eligible.

Many of the links below are referred to as “generic services”, which means that they are available to more than just people considered to have developmental disabilities. For example, many affordable housing programs are available to all people who are low-income -- and programs like In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)are available to people who are low-income, disabled and live in their own home or their family’s home.

Below are links to website’s of programs you might want to utilize. If you have questions about any of the links and the programs associated with them, contact Tom Heinz at theinz@eastbayinnovations.org.
